This is a plain-language summary of how AMS.ceo ("the Sim", "we") handles your information. It is provided in good faith and should be reviewed by the operator before relying on it for legal compliance.

1. Who we are

AMS.ceo is a free, non-commercial flight-simulation management game integrated with the VATSIM network. We are not affiliated with VATSIM. The Sim is operated by its maintainers and contactable via the Contact page.

2. Information we collect

Account data — the name and email address you register with, and your password (stored only as a secure hash). Accounts created via the former VATSIM sign-in retain the VATSIM CID, name and email received from VATSIM at that time.
Session data — a session cookie used to keep you signed in.
Game data — the airline, fleet, routes, finances and activity you generate while playing.
Contact form data — if you message us, the name, email and message you submit.

We do not collect payment information and we do not run advertising or third-party trackers.

3. How we use it

Your data is used solely to operate the game: to authenticate you, run your airline, show leaderboards/competition within worlds, and respond to support requests. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it for marketing.

4. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. We also use localStorage in your browser for preferences such as your light/dark theme and sidebar state. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

5. Third-party services

VATSIM — public live network flight data for the live traffic map; no account data is exchanged.
Hosting / database — application and data are hosted on Railway infrastructure.
Map tiles — the live map loads tiles from CARTO / OpenStreetMap; your IP is visible to those providers when tiles load.
